Events, broadcasts and interpreter matching

How an event is structured in the admin panel and how interpreters are assigned

An event is a container: broadcasts (sessions) live inside it. Each broadcast has its own languages, interpreters and time. This way a forum with parallel streams is set up without duplicating settings.

Creating a broadcast

A broadcast is created in a single window. When you pick the time, you can see which sessions run consecutively and which run in parallel: this immediately shows whether the same interpreters can be reused.

Interpreter matching

The platform suggests interpreters by language and current workload, and you can edit the list manually. Shortages in language pairs are highlighted: the system will not let you create a broadcast without an interpreter for a required pair.

Broadcast moderation

  • Mute one speaker or all speakers at once with one button. Interpreters are not muted
  • A speech timer with a limit: for information only, the broadcast is not cut off when time runs out
  • Broadcast chats in one window, with pre-moderation and bans. Questions to the interpreter go to a separate thread

Live dashboard

Shows broadcasts on air, active interpreters and the number of viewers, refreshing roughly every 8 seconds. The admin panel works on phones: you can monitor the hall from your mobile.
