How an event runs on the platform

From creating a broadcast to the recording: who does what and when

SINHRON replaces receivers and the receiver handout desk: listeners join the interpretation from their phones by QR code, interpreters work in the browser, and the organizer monitors the broadcast in the admin panel. The equipment in the hall stays the same: microphones and stage sound.

Before the event

  1. The organizer creates an event and the broadcasts inside it: each has its own languages, interpreters and time
  2. The platform matches interpreters by language and workload, and you can adjust the list manually. The system will not let you create a broadcast without an interpreter for a required pair
  3. A test connection is run in the hall: stage sound and the venue network are checked. Details in Test connection before the event

On the event day

  1. Listeners scan the QR code or enter the nine-digit code read out by the host from the stage, then choose a language
  2. Interpreters sign in with their own accounts: the platform opens the right broadcast for them
  3. The organizer follows the live dashboard: who is on air, how many listeners there are, which languages are active. The data refreshes roughly every 8 seconds
  4. A moderator can mute one speaker or all speakers with one button, interpreters are not affected

After the event

The recording is available right after you stop it: the speech and each language track as separate files. You can play them in the player and download them track by track. Listeners can rate the broadcast quality, and the ratings are collected in the feedback analytics.
