Click “Go live” on the screen to start. From then on, all attendees can hear and see you.

On-air controls

Buttons at the bottom of the screen:

  • Audio. Turn the microphone on or off
  • Speaker. Turn the room sound on or off for yourself
  • Video. Turn the camera on or off
  • Screen. Share your screen or an app window with attendees
  • Original / interpretation. Switch what you hear: the original room sound or the interpretation into the selected language

Listening to the interpretation

To hear how the interpreter is interpreting your speech, click the language button next to “Original”. When you turn on the interpretation, the microphone switches off automatically: this prevents echo. To keep speaking, click “Sound” again.

If the moderator muted your microphone

You will see a notification banner. Click “Audio” to turn the microphone back on.

Leaving

Click “Leave” in the right corner of the bottom panel.

Troubleshooting

The browser will not allow camera or microphone access. The first time you open the room, click “Allow” in the pop-up. If permission was already denied, open the site settings (the lock icon in the address bar), allow access manually and reload the page.

People can’t hear you. Make sure the “Audio” button is active (not crossed out). In “Settings” (button at the bottom), check that the right microphone is selected.

The connection dropped. Reload the page and sign in again.
